As I was working on my new website I just realized my extension to SiteConfig I made last week doesn't work anymore. It used to work last week, but since the upgrade the tab I made doesn't appear anymore. I finally managed to fix it up, though. As I posted before, I suspected the main controller giving the requirements lines to be broken, so I opened the Page.php file, just switched the order of two of my requirements lines to fake a change in the file and saved it, so next time I ran "?flush" Silverstripe saw a change in the file and reloaded it. Now everything's fine (as far as I know).

Posted to: Upgrade to 3.5.0 broke my website | Show Thread | Post Reply
Wed, 30 Nov 2016 07:12:42 +1300 https://www.silverstripe.org/community/forums/upgrading-silverstripe/show/119080#post420973 Upgrade to 3.5.0 broke my website https://www.silverstripe.org/community/forums/upgrading-silverstripe/show/119080
I just saw there was an upgrade to version 3.5.0, so I gave it a try. Now my website doesn't have a proper working theme anymore. The fields show up and in the right order, so I guess Silverstripe has access to the database and uses the SS files I made, but nothing is formatted. It's as if I didn't have a CSS file anymore. Might have just been a problem with a file during FTP. You could look into using Git post-receive hooks to do you deploys (depends if you're using share hosting or a Virtual Private Server or similar). Also the language is a little problem when English isn't my best language, so it's quite hard to follow the instructions in English. There is at least dataobject manager and uploadify modules in there, so I've to start reading which part to start upgrading before the other (if there's upgrades for the modules) and weather there's something with the php version as well (in between which stages the php version should be upgraded to get everything running all the time)

The site running with SS is in the root directory and there's other site with the other system in the subfolder. I always get the following error message when calling /admin/assets/:

Error at framework/core/Object.php line 739: Uncaught Exception: Object->__call(): the method 'numchildfolders' does not exist on 'Image' (http://www.diakonischeswerk.de/admin/assets/)

Any ideas on that? I'd suggest raising an issue there with the maintainer of that module (UncleCheese). You could also look to fork that module, improve it to suit your needs and then offer the fix back as a Pull Request to the original module.

Posted to: Bootstrap-forms & Userforms module broken after upgrading to SS 3.2.1 | Show Thread | Post Reply
Thu, 14 Jan 2016 17:41:22 +1300 https://www.silverstripe.org/community/forums/upgrading-silverstripe/show/111544#post412642 Re: Bootstrap-forms & Userforms module broken after upgrading to SS 3.2.1 https://www.silverstripe.org/community/forums/upgrading-silverstripe/show/111544#post412641
Hey Cam,
Using the latest version in CWP.
I was using Userforms 2.0.9 / Bootstrapforms with SS 3.1.13 and upgraded to SS 3.2 and Userforms 3.1.0

Posted to: Bootstrap-forms & Userforms module broken after upgrading to SS 3.2.1 | Show Thread | Post Reply
Thu, 14 Jan 2016 17:15:25 +1300 https://www.silverstripe.org/community/forums/upgrading-silverstripe/show/111544#post412641 Upgrade from 3.0.5 to 3.2.1 - Call to a member function databaseExists() on null https://www.silverstripe.org/community/forums/upgrading-silverstripe/show/111558
Hi
When upgrading from 3.0.5 to 3.2.1 I get the error below after uploading the cms, framework, reports and siteconfig folders.
