When you safe the entire page (SS 2.3) all images will disappear.
Reason: Images wil be renamed and do not have any extension like *.jpg.
My (dirty) solution: Remove or comment line 54 in class ImageGalleryPage
//$image->write();
Afterwards, the file name remains and does not match the title, but I think this is not important.
