We are having problems getting the Registerable Event part of the Calendar Module working, this is the error I'm getting:

[User Error] Uncaught Exception: Object->__call(): the method 'getstarttimestamp' does not exist on 'RegisterableDateTime'

From what I can find in the forums I need to use the EventCalendar from UncleCheese's which I have tried using but then I get another error - 'Fatal error: Class 'ArrayList' not found in' which is in SS3.

I am using SS 2.4.7, is there any way to have the EventCalendar work in SS 2.4.7?

I assume you got the module from the Git repository on Github. If that's the case, just checkout the 2.4 branch.
