Silverstripe Carousel Module problem

I am a very new user to SilverStripe and I am trying to set up a website using the 3.1.2 version.

I have had multiple problems with add-ons. Currently I am struggling with i-lateral / silverstripe-carousel.

I have installed the add on with composer and followed the instructions but when i load the page one of the picture loads and then the full site loads where the picture should be. You can see what I am trying to explain at the following URL:

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this.
