Hello,

I'v installed latest version of module userforms (trunk r70000) on silverstripe 2.3.0rc2
Most things went fine, but when I want to create a userform, after clicking one of the possibilities, no fields are appearing.
Also all the links are vertically arranged. (see screenshot in attachment)
What's wrong?

what is the browser you are using?

FF3, IE7 and chrome, all with the same results

I've updated SS to 2.3.0rc3 and userforms to latest trunk version but problem still remains the same.
Any ideas?

Finally found it,
I saved the userfoms in a wrong directory, it was called userforms-trunk
Renaming it to userforms solved it.

I am having a similar problem here probably because the install "read me" is a bit vague, does any-one know where to extract the files? Do they go individually into the mysite folder or as a folder into the main directory (where Shapphire is) or as a folder into the mysite directory or theme directory even?? Help!

No you should extract all the files so that they are in a folder called userforms/ this folder should be at the same level as sapphire/ cms/ and jsparty/ etc..

I had to figure this one out on my own too.

Basically, any module or widget you install must be installed in the SilverStripe root directory (same level as mysite, cms, themes, etc.) and you must remove the version number from the end of the directory name (that results from decompressing the tar archive) and then do the build.

e.g. you download ecommerce "ecommerce-v0.5.2.tar.gz", put it in the website root (if that's where SS is installed) decompress it and you end up with a folder called "ecommerce-v0.5.2" rename the folder to "ecommerce", run http://www.mysite.com/dev/build and you're done.
