Where can I find this infamous google map module?!!?! plz help... new here... but so far managed to set up a pretty site www.pigadion.com.

Couple map modules - http://silverstripe.org/google-map-2/ and http://silverstripe.org/maps-module/ . Both are unsupported so use at your own risk.
