"There are no blog entries"

For some reason I am now getting a "There are no blog entries" message on my home page. Has anyone else encountered (and defeated) this?

Okay - fixed it. For some reason the "show blogs" drop down on the main blog page was set to "last month's" blog. Can anyone let me know what I need to do to only show the last blog?

Also, on slightly different - my permissions seem to be a bit fried. Every time I save something I have to re-log in to the back end of the CMS. Any ideas?

Can anyone let me know what I need to do to only show the last blog?

In the cms for the blog holder page there is a dropdown "When you first open the blog, how many entries should I show". You can set this to All Blog Entries to simply pull the latest ones. Pretty sure it will paginate for each 10 entries. Not sure if you can customize that number.
