Hi,
I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. Is there a way for me to remove the site tree in edit mode to increase load time. I have a website with a massive site tree. It takes about 2 minutes for the edit section to load. They'll still need the site tree from the first screen but at the moment the side bar site tree is not being used and not needed because it's too thin.

Thanks in advance,

Not completely what you want, but I once gave people the option to enter the edit screen from the frontend - thereby removing the need to navigate the sitetree in the backend all together, so I had that removed.

It was under 2.4 IIRC and it was kinda a hack. I am about to look into it again, so if you want more info I might have it.

The downside is that people can not add pages themselves, but that was not really a problem in my case.
