E-Commerce with Subsites combined products possible?

I have a client that basically has two websites, but they share the same products. The only difference is one site doesn't sell ALL of the products that the other one. It's like a slimmed down version of the father site, only selling select items.

I love this E-commerce Module, and just about have it fully functional on the Main site. I downloaded the Subsite Module to check it out and see what all it could do because the description said it could share content, assets, etc.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to share products between the two sites. I need to be able to set a flag or something so that the second site doesn't show ALL products, only show those products that are flagged or something like that.

Any help or tips would be appreciated!
