I'm currently using Wordpress and an SMF forum. Is there a way to import boards, settings posts and users from SMF into the silverstripe forum?
Also, does it support user groups and can I make certain boards only visible to those groups? (we have a 'secret' admin board)

I've never seen a SMF importer (working anyway) for SS doesn't mean there is not one. If anyone has a decent one would be happy to add it to the forum module as a handy migration tool

Yes the forum module supports this out of the box.
