I remember hearing about some nice improvements to ModelAdmin a while back, and I thought they were destined for 2.4.0... what happened to them?

What sort of improvements did you hear about? ModelAdmin has had several bugfixes but no major feature / design enhancements in 2.4 AFAIK.
Not sure to be honest, I tried to find the threads but no luck.

Haven't heard anything 'behind' the scenes so to speak for if features are planned they would be there and/or on the roadmaps.
