Hi, I'm going according to the tutorial - trying to create a new "page type":
The link "http://localhost/dev/build?flush=1" for rebuilding the database does not work for me and I can't figure out what it'd look like in the case of my website.
Any ideas on how to find the correct URL to enter into my browser? Thank you!

Have you installed silverstripe in a sub directory for example if you have to access the site from
http://localhost/the-site
then you would need to call
http://localhost/the-site/dev/build?flush=1
Thank you, Phill - does "localhost" function as a substitute for my actual domain within "http://localhost/the-site/dev/build?flush=1"? And yes, it's a sub-directory where the installation is located. Regards, Patrick

Use the url of your homepage, and put /dev/build?flush=1 after it. Then you should get an overview of de tables and fields of your database, and if any new ones are added. If that's not your problem, then please give some more details...
