I have created a fairly heavily customised version of the SilverStripe user help (http://userhelp.silverstripe.org/) for a client. I wanted to check what the correct attribution credit should be for the Creative Commons Attribution licence? I couldn't find a named author on the User Help pages. Do I just credit the silverstripe team and/or link to the original document?
Currently my credit and copyright notice reads:
"This document is based on the SilverStripe User Help version 2.0 August 2010 at http://userhelp.silverstripe.org/ It has been edited and adapted by Sophie Dennis of Cayenne. Except where otherwise noted, this document is licensed under CC Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 Unported."
I realise exact wording is probably not all that important for an internal document, but I'm thinking it might be something useful to share with the community, and don't want to take credit for something that is only partially my work.
Cheers,
Sophie
