How do I upload different format files?

Hi, I hope someone can help me. I am using 2.4.5 and need to upload some files that are not images or the usual formats. The formats are for embroidery machines so they include formats such as .SEW .PES .jef and others. How can I upload those to my website?

So this is for 2.4.x:
You'd have to add your extensions to the File::$allowed_extensions array:

You might also have to change the .htaccess file in your assets folder. There's some talk on that here:

Thanks so much Martimiz. That worked great. Didn't need to do the second part.
