Just had a month on djangocms to see how it compares....frustrating sums it.
I thought it may run a bit faster than ss3 but not really.
I know python well, but the cms is still not there.
Its nice in that its all front end editing, but the htmlfields still don't integrate out of the box with filer, their assets manager.
And debugging is quirky even with pycharm.
Not a patch on netbeans in my experience.
Clever and best of breed for python, but still hard work
I wish my little trial had worked, but today I gave up in frustration at unmeetable deadlines,
so I'm back to ss3.1 which works out of the box as expected,
and will hope for better speeds as I profile and test more.
It does feel nice ... not just familiar but functional and goes where you expect.
Yay
