I was able to install SilverStripe for the time. Later Iost the password.

1 Anytime try to re-install I get the response on the attached file.

2. In attempting to install it as a different project in WAMP, I the the lines below as it hangs instead of the expected 30 seconds:

First, please don't post the same post twice - one is enough :)

Personally I found silverstripe v3 to only run on XAMPP - but it too has this same issue. I reported it recently - but the good news is that it doesn't matter to me.
After a short period I just navigate to the root url again and everything is all good.

1. If you forget your admin password, set a default through the config. http://docs.silverstripe.org/en/developer_guides/security/authentication/#default-admin
2. When you try to re-install, remove the old cache first. Delete C:\Windows\Temp\silverstripe-cache[...site name...]\ (default location).
3. I've experienced the WAMP hang too, but if you just visit the site (after the hang happens) it should work. Dunno what causes the hang, my computer is very underpowered (netbook) so I just figured it was that.
