Hi there,
I would love to install Silverstripe. Had no problems with Joomla, Drupal, Wp and stuff. But now due to a hyphen that is inside the database name (by default made by my provider) there is no way installing silverstripe. Everytime I Click on re-install, the hyphen magically disappears from my install.php form and - consequently - silverstripe script says that there is no b64787634mywebsite database. Sure, I wrote down b64787634-mywebsite.
Is this a bug or feature to kick ass to all who only have this f***ing Webhoster XL Packages for less than 29$ a month?
Do you know a solution?
Thanks in advance
Figured out that in the config-form.html there is a line like this:
<label for="mysql_database">MySQL database:</label>
<span class="middleColumn"><input id="mysql_database" class="text" type="text" name="mysql[database]" value="<?php echo $databaseConfig['database']; ?>" onchange="this.value = this.value.replace(/[^A-Za-z0-9_]+/g,'');" /></span>
But why do they do this replacing?
Joerg
